More control, more options for your money. Zumo 3.1 has hit the app store, and it’s one we think you’re not going to want to miss. Let’s dive in!
Welcoming Bitcoin SV (BSV) to the Zumo app
At Zumo, we’re committed to bringing the benefits of smart money to everyone. We believe in a sustainable and inclusive financial future, and we’re always on the lookout for new ways to help you participate and benefit from smart money.
Today, we’re delighted to unveil the addition of cryptocurrency BSV to the Zumo app alongside Bitcoin and Ether.
For those that don’t know, Bitcoin SV, or BSV, emerged from a hard fork of Bitcoin Cash, which is itself a hard fork of Bitcoin. It’s an extension of the same original blockchain, with specific amendments that have targeted the dual benefits of cheaper transaction fees and increased transaction capacity.
Ultimately, it’s about giving you more options for managing your money, and we really hope you’ll enjoy this new addition to the Zumo app.
How to get started
If you’re curious to find out more about BSV, we’ve put together a starter guide with everything you need to know, which you can find in our blog post here.
To access BSV, new users can download the Zumo app on Google Play or the Apple App store.
Or, if you’re an existing user, you’ll notice a new BSV wallet added within your app.
Initially, you’ll only be able to hold, receive or send the BSV cryptocurrency. This is to allow our users the time to get familiar with BSV and how it works. In phase 2, you’ll then be able to buy, sell and exchange BSV via the Zumo app as you would with Bitcoin and Ether, and we’ll let you know as soon as this feature is available.
